Tell Us About Your testPlant

Describe your lines, the systems you run today and what is hurting. An MES engineer will reply with next steps for an assessment.

FAQ

Questions We Hear Before Every First Meeting

What is a Manufacturing Execution System? test

Software that manages and records production as it happens: which order runs on which line, which material goes in, which checks pass, and what the result was. It sits between the ERP, which plans, and the machines and control systems, which make — at Level 3 of the ISA-95 model.test

How is MES different from ERP and SCADA? test

ERP plans and accounts at order level, in hours or days. SCADA supervises the process signal by signal, in seconds. MES works at the level of the work order, lot and operation, adding the context — which product, which lot, which operator — that neither of the others holds. test

How long does an implementation take?

It depends on scope, plants and regulation. A sound pattern is a single pilot line live within months rather than years, then rollout from a proven template. We agree a phased plan after the assessment instead of quoting a number in the abstract.

Do we have to replace our existing systems?

Usually not. An MES should integrate with the ERP, SCADA and historians you already run. Part of the assessment is finding what you can reuse — and sometimes finding that you need less MES than you thought.

Can you work in regulated environments?

Yes. Validation is part of how we configure and test the system, following risk-based GAMP 5 principles, with audit trails and electronic signatures designed for 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 expectations.

Will you push a particular MES product?

No. We start from your requirements and processes, not a product catalogue, and score the market against them before recommending anything.
